Deerwood Farm has two head trainers in their program, Heather and Erin Hirsch. Heather and Erin are sisters who grew up riding horses their whole lives. They demonstrate incredible knowledge and horsemanship around the farm, providing learning for both the horse world and the real world for all riders.
ERIN HIRSCH
Head Trainer
Received BA in Psychology from Roosevelt University.

Competed locally as a Junior in Hunter and Jumper classes. Well Versed in many different diciplines of riding. Received colors in the Fox River Valley Hunt. Participated in many pony club events including horse trials, hunter trials, hunter paces, gymkahana. Successfully broke and trained many competetive sport horses. Produced horses that are very amateur friendly for competition, fox hunting, and pleasure riding.

HEATHER HIRSCH
Head Trainer
Received BA in Secondary Education from Loyola University Chicago

Competed locally as a Junior rider in Hunters. Specializing in ponies and children. Successfully trained many personal horses to high levels of competition. Exceptionally talented with problem ponies and off-the-track thoroughbreds.
